Emotion 15 anchors the music with a 15-inch treated paper-cone woofer in a 300-liter bass-reflex enclosure, tuned to 27 Hz.
The cabinet’s 40 mm multi-layer sandwich walls, internal bracing, and non-parallel panels suppress standing waves and internal resonances, so bass arrives with foundation, pitch definition, and start/stop control.
From quick, percussive hits to deep, room-shaping fundamentals, the low end combines speed with authority—equally at home with rock, orchestral, and electronic material.
HIGH-FREQUENCY
The Fostex super tweeter, with an aluminum diaphragm and extension to 40 kHz, adds crystalline air, ambience, and speed.
It retrieves the spatial cues that define a hall—the breath before a phrase, the bow’s first bite—so recordings open up into a believable acoustic.
Midrange Driver
A horn-loaded 100 mm hand-crafted paper diaphragm covers the critical 500 Hz–5 kHz band. Precisely matched left and right, it preserves timbre and microdetail while the horn’s controlled dispersion delivers even, room-filling presence.
Voices lock in with natural color and lifelike immediacy, inner textures and small dynamic shifts are rendered without strain.
